The No Surprises Act
The No Surprises Act, also known as No Surprise Billing, went into effect on January 1, 2022. This act is part of a legislative package that was passed in December 2020 to protect clients and patients from receiving unexpected bills for services due to lack of disclose on the part of the provider or their billers.
